Fathers Day!

Was a wonderful day. Spent with my family, couldnt ask for more. I didnt go to work that day. I called in sick. LOL So I spent the whole day with Steve and the kids. All of the kiddos. It was wonderful. We went out to my Dads house and got some family photos then let the kids play around while we waited for our dinner reservations. The kids had fun playing with the animals and running around. We came home got cleaned up and went to Old Town Pizza in downtown Lincoln, with my Dad and stepmom. Gave my Dad and Steve their gives and they loved them of course. We finally got our whole family together for a group shot. We are like the Brady Bunch just minus one boy. LOL I love my life with Steve and our large family. I couldnt ask for more. My girls love his kids. :) So that is a wrap up of Fathers Day. Here is our family photo. :)

Fathers Day!

Emily lost another tooth

Pleasant Surprise

Got off work and found these on my car door. Such a wonderful surprise after a LONG night at work. I LOVE my boyfriend. He is the best man I have ever met. He loves me unconditionally even after I have told him everything about my past and all my mistakes. That is what true love is all about. And he still surprises me with flowers after 10 months. Usually the honeymoon has wore off and the flowers have stopped by now. But he just amazes me.

LOL well kinda.. I got a wild hair up my butt to get my nose pierced so Erica and I went and got it done. OUCH it kinda hurt. LOL Wasnt to bad but the needle was HUGE .. OMG! After we got it pierced we went to lunch at a cool place by her house that serves Chinese food and it was REALLY yummy. Was a good day. Here are the photos.

Just a blah Saturday..

Spent some quality time with my girls, that is about all that is good out of this Saturday. I hate the weekends. I am really starting to hate them more and more. Although I shouldnt say that, I have a good friend that I get to spend time with and go out and have some girl time with. Sheesh her and I get to have more dates than me and my boyfriend. Oh well! Thats life. I got up today, fed the girls .. did some house work and laundry and left to find a clear retainer for my nose since work wont let me wear the one I have in now. Stupid huh? Now I am here bloggin and off to get ready for my night at work. The girls are going to grandpa and grandmas in a bit and are excited they havent seen them for a week or more.

I am going to start doing things on my days off instead of sitting around the house doing nothing. I am going to start taking the girls places and letting them see the this world and what it has to offer. I sat around for WAY to long when I was married to him and allowed that to happen. I am not going to do it anymore. So the girls and I will go explore what we can on my days off. It will just be the girls and I and Erica if she can go since Steve has to work. So I just gotta start some planning, and do things that dont cost alot of money. Just some fun things. Thats all , get out and about. Not let the world pass us by.

Had a girls night out with Erica.. was a great night. We didnt do much, but was nice to catch up and chat about things. We went to dinner at Garcia's. Mmmmm that was yummy. Had the best strawberry daquiries. Then we went to the mall to walk some of the food off. Came home and hung out and played on the internet. :) I miss my girls night out nights.

Serious Addiciton...

I have had a serious addicition for McDonalds sweet tea for some time now. They are so refreshing and sweet when you need a pick me up. LOL Looks like my addicition is going to have to come to an end or be a thing here and there not an everyday thing. UGH! That bites. I looked up the nutritional facts and OMG that is crazy... Hmmmm

Its about time..

I was on my way to take the girls to school when I pulled up to a stop light and was next to a big yellow school bus. The lights here in Lincoln take forever so I was checking the bus out to see if it was full of kids and nope it didn't have a single kiddo on it. Much to my surprise what I found was much more shocking than a kids on the school bus. I have always wondered how long it would take them to put seat belts on school buses. Yep this BIG yellow bus had seat belts. There was two to each seat and they were shoulder belts that came out of the middle of the seat, one eat way. Needless to say I was in shock. I asked the girls if the buses they rode on field trips had seat belts and they said yes. So I was shocked to hear this. But this is great news. Some of you know this already but my sisters and I were in a terrible bus accident years ago when I was in 1st grade and our bus rolled 3 1/2 times down an embankment and finally came to rest on its top. Thankfully there were no deaths but alot of injuries. Not sure if seat belts would have helped or not but I am glad to see that this is finally happening. Much safer for the kids. :)

Took the girls and got them a "summery" hair cut. They look cute and it will be MUCH easier to care for.

Cool lightning show...

I LOVE thunder and lightning. It is sooo cool. And tonight there was PLENTY of both come over us out of know where. LOL I was sitting here folding laundry and started hearing the rumbling, I knew it was my tummy I had just ate. LMAO! And sure enough it was thunder off in the distance. It was slowly making its way over our house. It was awesome. Here are some cool shots I got of the lightning storm. :)

The days seem to get shorter & shorter...

Just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day. Today we went and did a little more cleaning on the old apt. will be done and keys turned in on Fri. That place is a joke. So super glad to be out of there.

The school year is coming to an end. June 5th the girls will be out of school. WOW! This year surely has flown by. It amazes me. Been a rough end of last year and this year has slowly been getting better for the girls. They are settling in and getting use to their routine at Mom and Steve's and then going to Dads. It can be tough at times but they are doing well.

Hannah isn't doing well in school and has been seeing a psychologist, just in time for Jason to get fired from his job. Oh well that is another story. He probably did it so he doesn't have to pay child support. Eh, oh well who needs him. Back to Hannah, she is still struggling and below grade level so we are going to retain her for sure this year. Her Dr is testing her for ADHD and ADD and a few other learning disabilities that would stand in the way of her learning ability.

Emily on the other hand is raring and ready to go onto 1st grade. She is already at or above 1st grade levels. She is a very ambitious child and wants to learn. She got her first grade physical yesterday and the DR says she is ready to go into 1st grade and show them how its done, she had to get one shot but wow she was a trooper. NO TEARS just an OUCH that hurt and off she went. :)

Natalie, my baby Natalie. Hard to believe I am saying this but she will be starting kindergarten in August. WOW! Doesn't seem real!!! Seems like she just learnt how to crawl, walk and talk. Now onto school. UGH! She is somewhat ready. We are still working with her. She has a little bit of a speech problem that will be address in kindergarten. Natalie also had her physical for kindergarten and DR says she is ready to go too. Poor thing had to have 5 yes 5 shots. OUCH!! Now she cryed and streamed and kicked and we had to hold her down. LOL

I am in the process of planning some some activities for all the kiddos and hope to keep them entertained the best I can, with work and my new schedule it sucks. But will do my best.
