Halloween Night...

I ended up taking the night off and spending the time with the girls ... It was a great night.. I dressed them up and took them to their Dad to take them trick or treating but it started raining really good so that didnt work. :( But they had fun anyways.. here is a few photos

Halloween Night...

I ended up taking the night off and spending the time with the girls ... It was a great night.. I dressed them up and took them to their Dad to take them trick or treating but it started raining really good so that didnt work. :( But they had fun anyways.. here is a few photos

What a wonderful day..

I couldnt ask for a better day than today. It was perfect. No other way to put it. PERFECT! Steve went and got his boys and then went to the grocery store and came home and made us breakfast. :) The boys hung out and watched TV, then my Dad and stepmom came by and helped move some furniture because Jason was bringing by the bigger bed and bringing my girls home.

Got the bed all in the room and the room put back together. The girls got to meet Brent and Brandon and they really had a great time playing with them. Emily has talked about them alllll night long. lol I think the kids got along great. That makes me happy... I cant wait now to meet Genna. I know it will be awhile before that happens and I understand. But I look forward to it.

Steve went and dropped off his boys and then went to work and the girls and I went to dinner with my Dad and stepmom at Back Forty BBQ. We had a nice dinner. I ran by Wal-mart and then came home and put the girls to bed.

This day has been sooo relaxing and wonderful. I dont know how else to put it. :) I am off to do some more laundry.

What a wonderful day..

Fantastic Saturday...

I had today off because of a schedule change and Steve invited me to go with him to one of his EMT events. Of course I went, I wont pass up a chance to go spend some time with him. I dont care where we are as long as I can be next to him and spend time with him. I know he is busy and has a busy life so if I will do what I can to spend time with him. It was cold and rainy but that didnt seem to matter to me. I was next to someone I care ALOT about. I finally got to meet his boys, what adorable kids. They had me laughing the whole time. They are great kids. I look forward to spending more time with them and getting to know them.

My girls are with their Dad this weekend.. I miss them terribly but enjoy my quiet time. Or not so quiet time, he calls me every hour on the hour. I am going to have to put a stop to that. Grrrr He just doesnt get it. He has NO clue. He "acts" like we are still together. He calls me for the stupid crap. It is hard to not answer the phone cause of the girls and he knows when he leaves a voicemail just how to get me to call him back. What a jerk! He needs to learn to let go.

So it has been a fantastic Saturday.. Only way it could get better is if Steve didnt have to work and he was here at home with me and we were watching movies cuddling in this rainy weather. But duty calls. :P He amazes me... he works so hard and you never hear him complain. He is a hard worker and deserves so much more credit than he gets. I guess this is where I need to step in and give him the credit he deserves. :)

Well I am off to take my hot bath now...

Those three words... "I LOVE YOU"

Dont come easy... from me that is. I have always struggled to tell the ones I love those three little words. I think it is because when I was a child my mother and father never told me they loved me. I never heard those words unless I was hurt or scared and that was rare. So I make it a point to tell my children all the time that I love them. As well as that special someone in my life.. I am really working on this one. But making good progress...

'I love you' means that I accept you for the person that you are, and that I do not wish to change you into someone else. It means that I will love you and stand by you even through the worst of times. It means loving you when you're in a bad mood or too tired to do things I want to do. It means loving you when you're down, not just when you're fun to be with. I love you means that I know your deepest secrets and do not judge you for them, asking in return only that you do not judge me for mine. It means that I care enough to fight for what we have and that I love you enough not to let go. It means thinking of you, dreaming of you, wanting and needing you constantly, hoping you feel the same way for me.
