Monday is almost over...

Today was a great day.  Got up and got the girls off to school.  Natalie had a field trip to Bishops Pumpkin Patch.  After we dropped the girls off at school Steve and I got to go out for breakfast at the Country Kitchen here in Lincoln.  It is nice to spend some time together alone.  After breakfast we ran a few errands and then picked Nat up from school.  She had a great time on the big bus ( although mommy was kinda worried,  but Steve helped keep me distracted by spending the morning with me. ) she got to get her very own pumpkin and she said she wanted to make pumkin pie.  LOL 

Hannah and Emily were on early release today,  so after we picked them up we went to a car dealership to look for a car for Steve since ASU 1 has officially died :( 

Came home just in time for Steve to get ready for work and for me to start the daily after school routine.  YAY!  Homework, dinner and baths.  Then I get some me time after bedtime.  hehe  So that is my day in a nutshell.  I am so ready for the rainy weather and colder weather.  I love winter and the rain. 

Time for me to go relax and wait for Steve to get home.  TTFN!

Time never stands still...

If only time would stand still for just an hour or two, I think I would be happy.  I would be able to cherish those moments I have with the ones I love deeply.  My days are so busy and seem to go by so quickly.   Now with all three girls in school,  my afternoon is dedicated to hours of homework..but it is a bittersweet moment,  time I get to spend one on one with each one of the girls and help them.  I do enjoy that.  I just wish that things could slow down a notch and that I could have time with my family,  all 8 of us together. 

I have not blogged in forever,  once again I stay busy and tend to forget.  But I miss it.  So here is an update on my family:

Steve and I are doing wonderful.  I love this man like I have never loved before.  He is so good to me and the girls.  Our love for one another just makes me shed tears of happiness.  Steve is a very busy person and I admire what he does.. He works hard to keep his business up and staffed and that is his passion.  He works a full time job and has his business on the weekends so he leads a very busy life too.  I am still working part time at the casino and my other time is spent with the girls and family.  I hope to eventually become full time.  Maybe with the casinos expansion.  I am looking to get back into my photography, just takes money and well right now I dont have alot of that.  Not any extra to spend on my photography.  But with time it will get better. 

The kiddos are all doing well.. Hannah is doing wonderful this year in school.  Such a HUGE improvement,  this is what she needed was an extra year.  I have fought the schools so much with her academics and it has become frustrating.  But I am so happy to see she is doing better.  Emily is just an ambitious little thing,  she LOVES school and has adapted to first grade like she already knew what to do.  She is always wanting to do her homework and her sisters.  LOL  She is ready very well and doing great in school.  Natalie she is adjustig to kindergarden well and catching on quick.  She loves school too.  The boys are doing great and we all got to go out and spend some time together at the pumpkin patch.  And little Genna is getting so big and she is doing great too.  She comes to see us on Mondays for the day. 

I cant beleive it is almost time for the holidays again.  Seems like we just went through all the holidays and here it is October again.  I love this time of year.  Just not loving the fact that I have to share my holidays with SD and not have the girls for some of the holidays.  I normally have to work anyways but we celebrate before I go to work.  Oh well that is life.  Well I am off to get some things done before work and before I have to pick up the girls from school.  TTFN

Fathers Day!

Was a wonderful day. Spent with my family, couldnt ask for more. I didnt go to work that day. I called in sick. LOL So I spent the whole day with Steve and the kids. All of the kiddos. It was wonderful. We went out to my Dads house and got some family photos then let the kids play around while we waited for our dinner reservations. The kids had fun playing with the animals and running around. We came home got cleaned up and went to Old Town Pizza in downtown Lincoln, with my Dad and stepmom. Gave my Dad and Steve their gives and they loved them of course. We finally got our whole family together for a group shot. We are like the Brady Bunch just minus one boy. LOL I love my life with Steve and our large family. I couldnt ask for more. My girls love his kids. :) So that is a wrap up of Fathers Day. Here is our family photo. :)
