{Hannah}

Hannah got to go visit my sister, niece, mom and grandma down in the San Luis Obispo area for a week and a half. She had a great time with my sister and niece and got to spend some time with my mom and grandma too.  While she was there she went hiking at the beach, went fishing and horseback riding.  She rode my sisters Belgium Draft horse her name is Dyna.  My niece is 16 years old and Hannah wants to be just like her.  It's cute!

Since Hannah wants to be so much like Ashley she asked if she can get her hair cut like hers and I said sure, so we wen to Great Clips and she got her hair cut. She really likes it and thinks she is so much older. LOL

Hannah has also learned from niece that you have to work and make money to buy things that you want.  My niece works at McDonalds and she works for the things she wants. So Hannah came home trying to figure out how and where she can make some extra money to save for an iPod (like Ashley has.) So Steve talked to his Dad and he has some work that she can do at his business and she asked the neighbor and they are having her do some yard work. :)  She is very happy to be earning money.  I told her we can open her a savings account in her name and she can put her money in it.  She wants to save some but keep a little for spending as well. I am happy that she is thinking this way and not expecting it to be given to her.  To many kids expect everything handed to them and for her to be wanting to earn money for her own iPod makes me happy.  Guess I am doing something right :)

{ June 12 2012 }

On this day June 12, 20012 I married my best friend.  The one I have spent the last 4 years with.  The man that has not only been my best friend but has been a wonderful father figure to my girls and has proved to me that he has and will always love us.  He is a very dedicated man,  dedicated to me and my girls as well as dedicated to his work and business.  We have grown A LOT in the 4 years we have been together.  We have had some very rough times and some very great times.  Those have all made us grown closer together and define "us" as one, now a married couple.

I am very happy and my girls are happy and that is all that matters to me.  My girls respect Steve MUCH more than they have ever dreamed of respecting their own father. Respect is earned not given!  And Steve has learned that with my girls.  They respect him and he respects them.

We decided on a small wedding ceremony at the courthouse.  We both have been married before and didn't need a BIG wedding and are completely happy with our small wedding.  It was perfect.  Wedding planning was stressing me out and I just didn't know where to begin.  So we both agreed that the planning didn't need to take place and we would just go and get married.  :)

We are going to have a nice reception in the near future for family and friends .. it as well will not be anything huge .. just a small get together to celebrate our new life together as a married couple.  I cant wait to have the reception and spend time with those that care to come and honor us being married.

School & Summer days

School is almost out for my girls.  They are out on June 8th and I personally couldn't be happier because I am ready to not have to deal with Hannah's teachers BS anymore.  I also want to be able to do things this summer.  Since I am no longer working .. not by choice.  I got laid off at the casino and I am on the hunt for a job.  I know funds are going to be tight so doing much this summer with be hard but at least we can do a lot of swimming here at home and picnics. :)  I plan to get a job as soon as possible. The stress of not having one is no fun.

The girls and I have already been swimming a lot and loving the pool we have at home.  It is definitely going to make the summer much more bearable. I hate the heat and will probably be at the pool as much as possible.  Hannah will be going down to visit my sister, niece, mom and grandma the week after school gets out.  She is excited to have time away from her sisters as she puts it. lol  She will be ready to come home though in a week. hehe

Steve and I are still planning our wedding.  BUT a little change of plans.  We are going to go to the county clerk and get married and then we are going to save money for the next year and then have a ceremony on our one year wedding anniversary.  I am excited for the next chapter in our lives.  We have been through SO SO much and that has only made our love for each other stronger.

I am trying to find things to occupy my time,  like getting the girls active in sports or events, but as usual that normally costs lots of money with three of them.  I say this because I have a man in my life that NEVER slows down for anything and I hate just sitting at home doing nothing.  I need to be busy and occupy my time as well as my girls time, especially since I am not working right now.  So going to hang out with friends and go swimming and start taking our kids to the park will be great too.  I need to get out more. lol   Between my mans business, full time job and now firefighting he rarely is home and stays VERY busy. So I need things to do.  So I want to start little trips to the library and things like that so the girls have good books to read.

Ok ok I am rambling .. time to go clean the house some now that the girls are resting ..

Happy Mothers Day

Happy mothers day to all the mommy's out there.  I had a fantastic day. Spent the early afternoon with Steve and the girls by the pool. Then took Steve to work since his truck was at an event this weekend. Then the girls.and I went and had a great mothers day dinner at Back Forty BBQ .. then we came home and spent another hour in the pool, then girls took a shower and I tucked them in bed.
